Andrew Dameron began his public safety career as a dispatcher and then operations supervisor for the Federal Protective Service, within the Department of Homeland Security. From there, he moved to the private sector where he managed a national security operations center (SOC) for a healthcare security company. Andrew now serves Denver’s 9-1-1 personnel as the Director of Emergency Communications for the City and County of Denver. He has a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Colorado State University, and an M.A. in International Security from the University of Denver.
